FAQs
How "cost effective" is Qtable
Well, when you deal with us you deal with a manufacturer and wholesaler so our prices are good to begin with.

There are no hidden charges or gotcha's, we are up front with everything.

We don't employ expensive 0870 numbers nor try to make money from incoming calls, just a local rate 0845 number ( 4p peak - 1p off peak ) and customers are free to email and use other communication methods of their choice to keep the cost of doing business as low as possible.

We are quick, dont waste peoples time and double and tripe check the details so that we get things right as near as first time, every time as we can.

With our well priced products coupled and the ongoing low cost of doing business with Qtable, it makes us one of the most cost competitive companies operating in the UK market.

How "Green" is Qtable

As a modern, efficient and environmentally conscious business we limit the amount of unnecesarry pollution we produce by doing business in a way that leverages the most cost effective and earth friendly means of communicaion and commerce such as the internet, email and phone.

We don't have tons of sales people on the road, nor do we send out stacks of printed paper brochures and catalogues.  Our customers can easily find us on the web and we source from manufacturers with policies similar to our own where we are not manufacturing ourselves.

Many of our products now have recyclable, reusable or low to no power green alternatives including water, solar and wind-up powered, so please ask us about them.

We import many items due to the cost conscious nature of the companies we work with and our commitment to allowing free trade to continue, but we always try to use the most efficienct methods possible and if we can source locally and competitively, we will.

We aware of the global green issue so we started www.goinecogreen.com to share information about these issues on an ongoing basis.  What is most interesting is that our research has led us into many contradicting and blind allies demonstrating that many so called “green” products are in some cases worse than their “not green” counterparts or that carbon footprints are not true reflections of a products contribution to pollution, and lastly the affect that being too green can have on global free trade.

The fact is, we need and should have global trade, but we also need to find more efficient and environmentally friendly methods of doing so.  Some of our operations are already based in the UK and we look to continue that trend where it allows us to compete competitively.

Can I order samples

We are happy to supply standard merchandise samples to prospective customers at little or no cost on disclosure of project details.  Alternatively you can purchase a sample at our reasonable sample rate without disclosing your project if you wish.

However, customised samples and prototypes will be chargeable.

Where do you source your gifts and merchandise

Many Qtable products are made in the UK, however a large number are sourced from overseas.

When we source from suppliers overseas we look for certain trading standards to make sure that there is no discrimination, forced work (slave labour), child labour or voilence such as those standards that can be found in the SA8000 code of conduct an independent standard developed by Social Accountability International in collaboration with a wide range of labor, consumer, business, government, and non-governmental organizations. Our suppliers treat their workforce fairly and provide a good working environment.

Social Accountability International accredits independent external auditors to audit and certify a company's compliance with the standard. Although some workers' rights organizations have expressed concern about its external audit process, we have concluded that SA8000, with its management systems requirements, guidance materials, and accreditation process, is currently the most credible and verifiable social accountability standard for labor rights. It is also a comprehensive standard, based on the core conventions of the International Labor Organization, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. (The SA8000 standard and certification procedures can be found at www.sa-intl.org.)
